Safe & Sound is a subscription service. We visit a senior homeowner's house on a set schedule, walk it with a standardized safety checklist, fix the small things we are equipped to fix, and write down everything we find. Quarterly or monthly, depending on the plan the family chooses.
We provide in-home maintenance and safety visits, on a schedule, and we document it so the homeowner always knows the current state of the home.
For you, that means the environmental recommendations you make do not disappear the moment the patient leaves your clinic or you close out a home-health episode.

- Standardized home safety walkthrough, every visit
- Fall-risk and trip-hazard checks: walkways, transitions, rugs, cords
- Handrails, steps, grab bars (install in most circumstances)
- Lighting checks and bulb replacement where accessible
- Smoke and CO detector checks and battery replacement
- Minor adjustments: tightening, leveling, caulking, small drywall repairs
- Removable showerhead and wand swaps, re-caulking (no pipe work)
- Written notes, photos, and issues-to-monitor tracking after every visit
When we find something outside our scope, we point the family toward the right licensed professional.

After every visit, the family receives a written summary of what we checked, what we fixed, and what we found, with photos of anything worth flagging and a clear note about anything that needs a licensed professional. They can read it in two minutes or read every line.
If we find something urgent or out of scope, we tell the family the same day and name the kind of professional they should call. No surprises, no upselling, no pressure. Our focus is consistency, not urgency.

Safe & Sound is founder-led by Jordan McNeely in Leland, NC. We are locally owned, bonded, insured, and background-checked. Every visit follows the Safe & Sound Standard: the same checklist on every home, every visit, documented the same way.
We are deliberately small and deliberately focused. We do regular, preventive, documented home safety. We do not do emergency work, renovations, or anything that requires a licensed electrician, plumber, or contractor. When something needs that, we tell the family who to call.
